About us

Knowsley Council for Voluntary Service is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. It was formed in 1993 as the successor to four Councils for Voluntary Service which had operated in Knowsley since 1964.

With its Head Office at Nutgrove Villa, Huyton and an area office in Kirkby, Knowsley CVS operates throughout the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley.

Knowsley CVS has a Board of Directors who devolve the day-to-day management to the Chief Executive and the Management Team. Virtually every aspect of community and voluntary sector development and support within the Borough of Knowsley is within our remit.

Knowsley CVS is also a partner within the Local Strategic Partnership and has representation on strategic groups at various levels.
