Children and Young Person Link Worker Project
Supporting a vibrant and robust Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) to deliver Children's Services in Knowsley.
The Children and Young Person's Link Worker, Laura Gallon, is based in Knowsley CVS, Nutgrove Villa, Huyton. If you are working in a Voluntary, Community or Faith Sector organisation and work with Children aged 0 - 19 you may benefit from the project in a number of ways.
The project seeks to inform, support and involve the sector in developments around:
- Safeguarding Children and Young People
- Funding and Commissioning Opportunities
- Workforce development and training needs
- Relevant Policies and Procedures
- Partnership working and improved communication with other organisations both within the sector and in statutory services
The Children and Young Person's Link Worker also co ordinates the Children and Young Person's Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) Forum, a network of organisations within the sector working in Knowsley.
