The new Common Core Pathway will help to ensure that front line practitioners are equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge needed to support children and young people. This training is linked specifically to the Common Core of Skills and Knowledge for the Children’s Workforce and uses an innovative blend of e-learning, comprehensive work-books, action learning and reflective practice. The pathway will allow participants and their line managers to explore multi-agency working, supporting transitions, effective communication, information sharing, safeguarding and child development.

The next programme starts on 15th September 2010 with a 3-hour briefing session from 9.30am until 12.30pm. This session for managers and potential participants will explain the pathway in more detail and allow you to explore the resources which are available.

We can accommodate up to 40 participants on this session so please book early to avoid disappointment. This is a multi-agency programme so places can be offered to partner organisations. If you are interested in the programme but cannot make this date please complete an application form to reserve a place on a future session.
