Domestic Violence Awareness Training - 2010

IMPORTANT – FOR ALL VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY GROUPS
Does your group support the Knowsley Domestic Violence in the Workplace Strategy? Do you know what the issues are? Have you policies and guidance in place?

Knowsley CVS in partnership with Knowsley Domestic Violence Support Services is providing free awareness training sessions. The same training session is available on three separate days at venues across the Borough.

The following sessions will take place:
Kirkby
1st Step Centre on Thursday 16th September  1:00-3:30
Halewood
The Halewood Centre on Thursday 23rd September  1:00-3:30
Huyton
KCVS, Nutgrove Villa on Friday 1st October 1:00-3:30

The Knowsley Domestic Violence in the Workplace Strategy was adopted in early 2010 and is a key part of making Knowsley a safer place for everyone and of reducing domestic abuse.

It is important that someone from each organisation is aware of the issues and the proper response to the strategy and books onto one session.

If you book a place it is very important that you attend.
To book a place please e-mail Andrew Wilson on andrew.wilson@knowsleycvs.org or telephone 0151 489 1222.
