Knowsley Community Chest Fund Update

Knowsley Council has now confirmed that it has considered the options available for the Community Chest scheme and that the 2010/11 budget of £45,000 will remain intact.

There will be one change to the scheme – the maximum grant that can be awarded will be revised to £500 (and not £1000 as it was previously) to ensure that there are more opportunities for community groups to access the fund. All the other eligibility criteria for the scheme will remain the same.
