Training & Development
Training and Development
We run training through the year which is designed to help you find out more about what volunteering you could do, and then give you skills to make your volunteering easier. Visit our training calendar to find out more. We also run different projects to enable people to have additional support to start volunteering or use volunteering to change their lives.
At the moment we are running:
Opportunities for Families Mentor Training
Knowsley CVS Volunteer Centre is currently delivering training for individuals interested in becoming Family Mentors; the training equips the mentors with tools on helping families living in Huyton to access services and new opportunities. The training supports the volunteer mentors to develop relationships and partnership with families that encourages their achievement of goals through the use of community resources, services and opportunities.
